Madeline Dopp was the leader of the pack for the HU women's cross country team at the MIAC Championships Saturday. The junior finished 33rd to be the first Piper across the finish line, completing the 6K course in 23:47.4. . Meg Griffin followed Dopp, placing 41st (38 points, 24:03.2). Helen Dolan continued her excellent freshman season with a 46th place effort (41 points, 24:09.1) She was followed by Kathleen Miles, who was 58th (48 points, 24:18.9) and Bernadette Hayden (61st, 50 points, 24:26.2) was the fifth pointgetter. 

As a team, Hamline placed seventh with 208 points. 

The Pipers hit the ground running on Friday, November 3 at the annual Fall Finale in Collegeville. The 5K event starts at 4:40 p.m.
