Hamline scored a pair of relay wins and got a repeat victory effort from
Travis Jacobson at the Holst Inviational at Concordia (St. Paul) Saturday. The 4 x 100 quartet of
Jordan Grier,
Jordan Lein,
Nathan Huss (pictured) and
Thane Widmer raced to victory in 42.87 seconds. Grier, Widmer,
Jacob Prouty and
Sam Gatton combined for a win in the 4 x 400 (3:24.98).
Jacobson bettered his winning effort of Friday in La Crosse with a 55-01 throw in the Shot Put.
Chase Duwenhoegger also threw farther than the day before and was second (51-03.75).
Anthony Tyler placed third in the Discus (149-06).
Eric Dols had a pair of sixth place finishes in the Hammer and Shot Put as did
Frank Gustafson in the 800 Meters. The nonscoring meet had athletes from the University of Minnesota, D-II and III schools competing.
