Box Score A three goal second period was too much to overcome for the Hamline men's hockey team in a 6-2 loss at Gustavus Adolphus Saturday night. Mitch McPherson gave HU a 1-0 lead, taking passes from Mitch Bentfield and Sam Nelson midway in the first period.  GAC scored three unanswered goals, in the second period and added one in the third period. Bailey Martin made it 4-2 in the third period but GAC  got that goal back to take the verdict.

Sam Nelson had 29 saves for Hamline.

HU is now 2-2 in MIAC play, 2-6 overall. The Pipers are off until November 27 when they will face St. Scholastica at TRIA Rink. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
