Box Score Stopping two or three top scorers on a lacrosse team is tough. Stopping an eight-pronged attack is more than difficult. Hamline used eight different scorers to attack Loras from every angle and score a 16-4 victory over the Duhawks Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa. 

Alycia Monserrate Novotny scored three goals with Lexus Tatge, Kalley Elwell, Radian Lenz, Sydney Dynneson, Maya Hernandez, and Tara Dalman adding two each as the Pipers claimed their Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference opener and evened their overall record at 1-1. 

After surrendering the game's first goal, HU exploded for nine in a row to take a 9-2 lead at halftime. The Pipers scored the first four of the second half and stayed in control the rest of the way to record the win. HU outshot Loras, 21-8, for the game. 

The Pipers have little time to rest on their laurels. They play at Cornell (3-1, 1-0 MWLC) on Sunday, March 11. Game time is 11:00 a.m.
