SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Adam Dobis has stepped down from his position as Hamline University women's lacrosse coach to accept a head coaching position at Northern Michigan University.

Dobis departs Hamline after being at the helm of the women's lacrosse program for the last 4 seasons, holding a 29-33 overall record and coaching the 2026 squad to his best season as a coach with a 10-6 overall record, starting the season with a 7-0 win streak. During his time at Hamline, Dobis has coached 14 All-Conference selections, including Taryn Leonard, Maitland Luksan (twice), Kendra Haselow (twice), Analisa Aragon, Maddie Swanson, Avery Wilson (twice), Courtney Parker (twice), Emma Collins, Lauren Moorhouse, and Kayli Starkey. He also coached the Pipers to their first ever WIAC playoff appearance during the 2026 season.

I am so grateful to have spent the last four and a half years at such an amazing institution. I'm a firm believer as a coach to leave a place better than you found it. We raised the competitive bar as a program over the last 4 seasons, and that's what I'm most proud of in my time at Hamline.
