SAINT PAUL, Minn. --- Hamline University lacrosse sophomores
Daviney McKay (Beulah, N.D.),
Lauren Moorhouse (Monticello, Minn.), and
Reagan Zywicki (Duluth, Minn.) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large honorees, the organization announced June 16.
Sophomore defender
Daviney McKay started all
16 games for Hamline University, anchoring the defensive unit while logging
14 ground balls. She stayed highly active across the field, recording
13 turnovers forced,
3 caused turnovers, and
3 draw controls.
Sophomore midfielder
Lauren Moorhouse started all
16 games for Hamline University, putting together an elite offensive performance with
48 goals and
11 assists for a total of
59 points. She displayed incredible efficiency as one of the team's top threats, logging
84 shots and
61 shots on goal to finish the year with an exceptional
.571 shooting percentage alongside
2 game-winning goals. Moorhouse was equally dominant across the rest of the field, leading the Pipers with
65 draw controls while securing
43 ground balls and forcing
23 caused turnovers.
Sophomore attacker/midfielder
Reagan Zywicki started all
16 games for Hamline University, delivering a stellar offensive performance with
27 goals and
23 assists for a total of
50 points. She generated significant pressure on the attack by unleashing
89 shots (51 on goal) to post a
.303 shooting percentage alongside
1 game-winning goal. Zywicki was also highly influential all over the turf, securing
54 draw controls, scooping up
26 ground balls, and forcing
5 caused turnovers.
