Zander Payne is adapting to the pace of college football. The freshman back rushed for a career high 38 yards -- including a 16 yard jaunt -- in the Pipers' 55-0 loss at Concordia Saturday.
Jordan Deno boomed a career long 61 yard punt for HU, which dropped to 0-4 overall, 0-2 in MIAC play.
On defense,
Luke Trudell had a stellar day with a game high 19 tackles, including 10 solos. The senior linebacker leads the league in three key defensive categories -- tackles (48), solo tackles (33) and tackles per game (12.0).
