The HU Men's soccer team battled St. Scholastica on even terms for most of Sunday afternoon in Duluth. The Saints, however, found an opening in the second overtime and scored to record a 1-0 win. 

Led by Logan Weller and Jack Reddan (who had three shots apiece), the Pipers fired nine shots overall, five of which landed on goal. 

Malachy Zamacona had three saves for Hamline, which is now 3-6-1 overall.

HU, 1-3-0 in conference games, returns to the MIAC wars on Wednesday, October 16 against Macalester (5-4-4, 3-23-1 MIAC). Game time at Paterson Field is 4:00 p.m.
