Malachy Zamacona stopped seven shots in goal but the HU men's soccer team struggled on offense and dropped a 1-0 decision to Carleton at Paterson Field Wednesday. The senior handled six shots in the first half alone and kept things on an even keel until the Knights headed one home with 13:36 to play in the second half.

The Pipers took four shots. The two that landed on goal -- off the feet of Ryan Pyle (14) and Logan Weller -- were both from close range but were saved. 

Hamline is now 3-9-1 overall, 1-6-0 in MIAC play. They continue a three-game home stand Saturday, October 26 against St. Mary's. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
