Welcome to the goal scorer's club, Lay Wah. The Albert Lea, Minn. sophomore recorded his first career tally for the men's soccer team in a 4-2 loss at Concordia Saturday. Logan Weller nailed his seventh goal of the year, tying him for third place among MIAC kickers but the Pipers fell to a late Cobber rally and dropped to 3-5-1 on the season, 1-3 in MIAC play.

After a scoreless first half, both team got their legs going in the second session. CC struck first at 47:04 only to see Wah reply in kind just 20 seconds later. Three minutes later, Weller took an Adam King and did what he does so well to give Hamline a 2-1 edge. 

The Cobbers came back to tie the game 10 minutes and then add two more in the stretch run to claim the verdict. Hamline held an 11-10 edge in shots with King the top attacker with three attempts. 

The Pipers have a week to rest up for a hectic final three weeks of the regular season. They return to action Sunday, October 13 at St. Scholastica. Game time is 3:00 p.m.
