Three players who played key roles in the resurgence of the Hamline women's basketball team in 2018-19 have been named to the league's postseason squads.

Reilly Geistfeld, who finished tied for second in the conference in scoring at 16.5 and was fifth in rebounds at 8.5 per game, was named to the All-Conference contingent. The junior recorded eight double-doubles, including a whopping 17 rebounds vs. St. Benedict in a 67-60 win on January 26. That effort enabled the Pipers to sweep the season series from the Bennies for the first time in 33 years. Her 105 Free Throws made led the league. She is in line to be the next Piper to join the 1,000 point club next season. She finished the year at 909.

Chan'el Anderson-Manning earned Honorable Mention and was picked for the All First Year Team. The St. Paul, Minn. native (pictured) averaged 9.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Despite missing two entire games (and parts of others) due to an injury, she still led the team in Steals with 61 (7th best in the conference) and was second in Assists with 45.

Kaeli Stayer also drew two notations. The Texan earned an Honorable Mention and was also the Pipers' rep on the Sportsmanship Team. Stayer averaged 9.4 points per game. She led the team with 38 three-pointers, the most dramatic of which came as a buzzer beater for a win over St. Mary's. The junior also led the team in Assists with 47.

Hamline, which won just 12 games the previous three seasons, went 13-12 under second year coach Alex Focke. Their 8-10 MIAC mark placed them just one game out of the final playoff spot. The team has no seniors on it.
