Courtney Fenech and
Megan Anderson all recorded double wins as the Hamline women's tennis team won their second straight MIAC match, 6-3, over Concordia Sunday at Baseline Tennis Center.
The Pipers moved back over the .500 mark at 9-8 overall by taking four of six singles matches and two of three doubles clashes.
Fenech, playing at No. 1 singles, was nearly perfect in winning her match by duplicate 6-0 scores. Pieterick, playing at No. 3, also won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. The duo then teamed up for a win at No. 1 doubles by an impressive 8-2 count.
Anderson continued her second half run with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles. The Eagan, Minn. native then joined
Claire Witt at No. 2 doubles, 8-6.
The Pipers' scheduled April 16 match at Minn-Morris has been postponed. The next scheduled match is April 27 against St. Catherine on the latter's court.
