Kohner, Muller, and Pham Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition

SAINT PAUL, Minn. --- Hamline University women's tennis juniors Elanna Kohner (Winona, Minn.), Vanessa Pham (Brooklyn Park, Minn.), and senior Christine Muller (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the organization announced May 12. 

Kohner competed in 19 matches this season in both singles and doubles. In singles play, Kohner went 9-9 on the season, 5-4 in conference play in the #3 singles spot for the Pipers. In doubles play, she went 13-6 overall with partner Christine Muller between the #1 and #2 doubles spots for the Pipers, holding a 6-3 conference record to help send their team to the conference playoffs for the first time in program history. 

Pham competed in 20 matches this season i both singles and doubles. In singles play, Pham went 4-16 overall and 2-7 in conference play on the season at the #1 singles spot for the Pipers. In doubles play, she went 5-11, playing a majority of the matches with partner Chloe Reyes at the #1 doubles position. 

Muller competed in 19 matches this season in both singles and doubles. In singles play, Muller went 10-9 overall on the season, 4-5 in conference play at mostly the #4 singles position for the Pipers. In doubles play, she went 13-6 overall with partner Kohner between the #1 and #2 doubles spots for the Pipers, holding a 6-3 conference record to help send their team to the conference playoffs for the first time in program history.
