Malachy Zamacona recorded four of his nine saves in extra time -- including one as time was almost out -- as men's soccer and Northwestern battled to a 0-0 2 OT tie in Roseville Wednesday night. The Pipers directed nine shots in their own right on goal to improve to 2-4-1 on the season. 

Stefan Kinsinger was active all night with four shots, three of which landed on goal. Logan Weller had three attempts with Jack Reddan, Ryan Pyle and Alex Rouse adding two each. 

The Pipers held an 8-5 edge in shots on goal during regulation time. In each of two 10 minute extra sessions, Zamacona made two saves. It was the senior's second shutout of the season. 

HU, which is 0-2 in MIAC action, gets back into conference play Saturday, September 28 at Bethel. Game time in Arden Hills is 1:00 p.m.
