EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - In their second match of the season, the Hamline men's tennis team fell to Cornell 7-2 in a neutral site match at UW-Eau Claire.

Tou Ger Xiong won his match at No. 1 singles, taking the first set 6-4, falling in the second set 3-6, but winning the tiebreaker set 10-8.

The Pipers also got a win in No. 2 doubles, as first years
Sean Le and
Allan Yang defeated their opponents 8-5. Xiong and junior
Nazeer Robinson teamed up in No. 1 doubles, coming up just short at 8-6.

Robinson was slotted at No. 2 doubles for the match, falling to Hayden Dzurisin 6-2, 6-4. Le played at No. 3 singles, dropping the match 6-3, 6-1 and Yang fell at No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-2.
