Despite having their seasons cut short, the Hamline athletic department would like to recognize and honor the 2020 senior spring class of student-athletes. These 37 individuals have made a lasting impact on their program and the Hamline campus as a whole. Cole Wilson  |  Baseball  |  Digital Media Arts Major
Cole Wilson has been a four-year member of the Hamline baseball team, adding depth to the Pipers' pitching staff. HU recorded 53 wins throughout Wilson's career, including narrowly missing the playoffs in 2018, after the team finished with a 9-11 MIAC record, finishing two games behind the teams who took the final two spots in the tournament.

What were you most looking forward to for this spring season?
I was looking forward to having a full season with my senior teammates, my first time going to Arizona, and having a full season of home games at CHS Field. Â

What is one of your favorite memories of your time at Hamline?
My favorite memories of my time at Hamline is every year because Hamline is a great community to be involved in.

Who is someone that has had a positive impact on you during your time as a student-athlete?
Weston Germain. He is a passionate and very thoughtful coach. He is not afraid to try new things and is dedicated to his work. He is a great coach.

What are your plans after graduation?
I'll just keep on livin' and being myself.

What is your advice for your younger teammates?
Don't take things for granted. You never know if something will be taken away from you just like how my season was taken away from me.

What are you most proud of about your career as a student-athlete?
I was true to myself and I didn't give up. I kept my chin up and put in the work!
