Despite having their seasons cut short, the Hamline athletic department would like to recognize and honor the 2020 senior spring class of student-athletes. These 37 individuals have made a lasting impact on their program and the Hamline campus as a whole. Every day for the next few weeks, please check back to this page as a new senior will be added each day.

Eric Erb  |  Baseball  |  Applied Physics Major (with an emphasis in Engineering)
Eric Erb has played in 52 career games as part of the Hamline baseball program. In his sophomore season, he compiled a .300 batting average, with six hits in his 20 at-bats while also successfully stealing three bases. The following year, he posted one of the top on-base percentages on the team at .448, recording six hits, three walks, and getting hit by four pitches. Erb continued that trend in the beginning of the 2020 season, getting on base half of time, tying for the best on-base percentage on the team at .500 through the first nine games. This mark also ranked 12
th in the MIAC in the early season. Erb had three hits in that span, drew six walks, and was hit by two pitches. In Hamline's extra-inning win over Crown earlier in the season, Erb doubled and also scored a run in the seventh that would send the game into extra-innings, allowing Hamline to eventually come away with a 5-2 win. Erb was also named to the MIAC All-Academic Team in both his sophomore and junior seasons.
