ST. JOSEPH, MINN.—The Hamline University women's soccer team embarked on a Saturday-afternoon affair at St. Benedict. Lauren Sicora came through big once again with a season-high 16 saves for the Pipers, who couldn't find the score column in a 3-0 loss to the Bennies.
The Pipers fall to 6-6-1, 2-5-1 MIAC while St. Benedict improves to 7-3-3, 5-1-2 MIAC.

Goals from Abby Willenbring in the 33rd minute, Roxy Veldman in the 61st minute, and Lana Krautkremer in the 69th minute sealed the Pipers' fate, who were outshot 31-6. Annie Waters and Paige Kahlmeyer each saw 45:00 in net for St. Benedict, and combined for four saves.
The Pipers will return to action on Saturday, October 23 when they host St. Mary's (Minn.) at 3:30 p.m.
