SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Pipers men's and women's swimming & diving teams embarked on the Hamline University Invite at the Bush Center Pool on Saturday. The women registered third place out of three teams with 42 points, while the men tallied second place of two teams with 35 points.

Courtney Broyles kicked off the day with a first-place mark of 183.45 in the 3-meter dive, and a second-place score of 186.25 in the 1-meter dive. It was another day at the office for Sarah Wood, who captured second place in the 50-yard breaststroke with a 33.41. Wood followed that with a third-place time of 2:41.64 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Sila Yurttas claimed third place in the 200-yard IM, where she crossed the finish line at 2:25.03.
Quinn Doan highlighted the men with a first-place time of 2:09.99 in the 200-yard butterfly. Doan kept the first-place trend going with a 2:07.43 in the 200-yard IM, and followed that with a second-place time of 2:21.12 in the 200-yard breaststroke. The 200-yard backstroke saw Nathan Steeves notch third place with a 2:29.70.
The Pipers will compete in the Gustavus Adolphus College Grace Goblirsch Invite on Saturday, November 20 at 9:00 a.m. / 1:00 p.m.
