ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Hamline University volleyball team made the short trek to No. 20 Bethel University with the No. 1 seed, and a share of the MIAC Regular Season Championship at stake. The Pipers dug themselves out of a 2-0 deficit and forced a fifth set, where they came back from a 14-10 hole to knot the match at 14-14. The Royals secured the No. 1 seed, and a share of the MIAC Regular Season Title with a 16-14 victory in set five, and a 3-2 (25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 21-25, 16-14) win over the Pipers.
Hamline (19-7) will be the No. 3 seed in the 2021 MIAC Tournament, and will host No. 6 seed Saint Benedict at Hutton Arena on Wednesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. The Royals exit the match with a 21-5 record.

Sydney Larson came through with a career-high 23 kills in the match, as 15 of them occurred in the opening two sets en route to a .171 hitting mark in the match. Jenna Rubbelke kept the career-high trend alive with 34 digs, while Julianna Boyum had a hand in six blocks for the Pipers defense and contributed offensively with 11 kills. Megan Rubbelke registered 47 assists for the Pipers, who hit .157 as a team.
