2021 AVCA DIVISION III WOMEN'S ALL-REGION TEAMS

LEXINGTON, Ky.—Hamline University volleyball senior outside hitter Sydney Larson earned 2021 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Women's All-Region 9 Honorable Mention on Thursday.

Larson paced Hamline offensively with 3.55 kills per set, 380 kills, 430.5 points, and a MIAC-leading 1110 total attacks in 2021. She ranked third on the team with 2.74 digs per set, and 293 total digs. The Littleton, Colorado native amassed a season-high 21 kills in a 3-1 victory at Carleton on October 22, which helped earn her October 25 MIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. Larson also came through in a big way defensively with 24 digs in a 3-1 decision over St. Catherine on October 9.

Larson owns 906 kills, 594 digs, and 56 service aces over 86 career matches played for the Pipers, who finished the 2021 season with a 20-8 overall record.
