Bathurst, Dierks, Sand Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Hamline University sophomore Grace Bathurst (Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead), senior Mandy Dierks (Sioux Falls, SD./Sioux Falls Roosevelt), and sophomore Cameryn Sand (Clear Lake, Minn./Cathedral) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the organization announced Tuesday, Dec. 16.

To qualify for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet sport-specific athletic eligibility requirements.

Bathurst played in 24 matches, including 95 sets. She led the team with 249 kills and had a hitting percentage of .327 while also contributing 18 service aces this season. She also led the team in blocks with 72. 

Dierks played in 23 matches, including 90 sets. She led the team defense with a total of 438 digs and also led the team in service aces with 37. 

Sand also played in 23 matches, including 90 sets. She led the team in assists while a total of 755. She was also second in digs (196) and in service aces (35). 

The Pipers finished the 2025 season 9-15 overall and with a 4-7 record in conference play.
