ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Hamline men's tennis team (1-7, 0-5 MIAC) headed to Bethel (3-6, 3-1 MIAC) this afternoon, falling 9-0 in Arden Hills.

Isaac Hultberg was the only Piper to take his match to three sets, ultimately dropping a very close match in the No. 4 spot 4-6, 6-3, 8-10. He teamed up with first year
Dominic Warzecha in No. 2 doubles, falling 8-2.

In the No. 1 doubles spot, senior
Nazeer Robinson and first year
Sam Thompson took three games within the match, eventually yielding 8-3. Sophomores
Allan Yang and
Sean Le were in the No. 3 doubles spot, falling 8-1.

Robinson played in the No. 1 singles slot, taking four total games from his opponent, but dropping the match 6-3, 6-1. Thomas played at No. 2, taking five games in the match, but falling 6-3, 6-2.

Warzecha played No. 3, conceding his match 6-0, 6-1. Le and Yang rounded out the singles group, playing in the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively. Le lost in his match 6-2, 6-2 and Yang fell 6-1, 6-1.

The Pipers compete again this weekend, hosting Concordia to Rogers Tennis Club on Saturday, April 17. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m.
