NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's soccer team embarked on a Saturday-afternoon affair at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. The Pipers came up empty in a 5-0 score against St. Olaf.
The loss sends Hamline's record to 2-5, 0-2 MIAC while St. Olaf improves to 4-1-1, 2-0 MIAC.

Casey McCloskey (21st minute), Jordan Oberholtzer (22nd minute), Hakeem Morgan (21:45), Martin Machon (48th minute), and Ethan Niles (71st minute) each registered goals St. Olaf, who outshot Hamline 20-3. Cole Brennan tallied two shots for Hamline, while Robert Cooper notched one.
Luke Rimington tallied three saves over 90:00 in net for Hamline, while Austin Williams tallied two saves in 78 minutes of action for St. Olaf before Hamza Osman played the final 12 minutes in net and made no saves.
The Pipers will return to action Saturday, September 25 at Bethel. Game time is set for 12:30 p.m.
