NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University women's cross country team's second meet of the season pitted them at the St. Olaf Invite in Northfield, Minnesota on Saturday. The Pipers registered seventh place out of 15 teams with 242 points. UW-La Crosse took home the team title with 42 points.
Alexandra Maddux put on a dominating display for the Pipers as she registered a 30th-place time of 23:57.6. Emma Mader was next in 65th place with a 25:07.6, followed by Miranda Kerndt's 93rd-place time of 26:03.9. Miranda Ekleberry was on Kerndt's heels in 98th place with a 26:10.3. Libby Roberdeau crossed the finish line at 26:31.9, good enough for 109th place. Aspen Clarksean (27:06.7) and Charlotte Adams (27:07.0) were tick-for-tack at the finish line for Hamline. Klaire Petersen (27:22.8) and Jalisa Matthews-Schmidt (29:37.4) rounded out the Pipers finishers.
Up next is the Hamline Invite, set for Friday, October 1 at the Highland Golf Course in St. Paul, Minnesota. Meet time is set for 4:30 p.m.
