Pipers Impress at UW-La Crosse Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational

LA CROSSE, WIS.—The Hamline University women's cross country team embarked on the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational in West Salem, Wisconsin on Saturday. The Pipers took 17th place out of 30 teams with 477 points. UW-La Crosse took home the team title with 32 points.

It was another day at the office for Alexandra Maddux, who led Hamline with a 20th-place time of 23:05.4. Miranda Kerndt was next in 74th place with a 24:21.1, followed by Libby Roberdeau's 119th-place mark of 24:54.5. Klaire Petersen was next in 210th place, where she crossed the finish line at 26:10.4. Aspen Clarksean (26:23.7) prevailed in 232nd place, while Daniela Sanchez-Castillo (26:45.8) and Abby Tapajna (27:00.1) rounded out the top-seven Hamline finishers.

Jalisa Matthews-Schmidt (27:26.3), Katie Danielzuk (28:17.3), and Charlotte Adams (28:55.5) also competed for Hamline.

The Pipers will host the MIAC Championship at the Highland 9 Golf Course in Saint Paul on Saturday, October 29 at 11 a.m.
