RESULTS
SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's cross country team hosted the 2022 MIAC Championship at the Highland 9 Golf Course on Saturday. The Pipers took ninth place out of 12 teams with 335 points. Carleton claimed the 2022 MIAC Title with 27 points. Fiona Smith (St. Benedict) took home the individual crown with a 2:14.6.
Alexandra Maddux led the way for Hamline as she took 24th place with a time of 24:17.6. Libby Roberdeau crossed the finish line at 25:28.5, good enough for 53rd place. Miranda Kerndt followed with a 95th-place time of 26:40.4, while Daniela Castillo-Sanchez claimed 107th place with a 26:59.7. Abby Tapajna registered a time of 27:40.4, which put her in 124th place. Klaire Petersen (28:00.1) and Aspen Clarksean (28:03.3) rounded out the Pipers top-seven finishers.
Katie Danielzuk (29:53.1) and Charlotte Adams (30:03.6) also competed for Hamline.
The Pipers will embark on the NCAA Division III North Regional in Northfield, Minnesota on Saturday, October 29 at 11 a.m.
