SAIINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's volleyball team welcomed Crown to Hutton Arena for a Wednesday-night non-conference match. The Pipers found the win column with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-14) decision over the Polars.
Hamline improves to 3-15, while Crown falls to 2-14.

The Polars took an early lead in each set, but the Pipers were able to hold them to .000 hitting for the match. Jenna Rubbelke played a role in that with a game-high 18 digs, along with four service aces for Hamline.
Grace Tesmer was stellar at the service line with a career-high five aces. Julianna Boyum registered a game-high nine kills for a Hamline offense that hit .149 in the match. Lindsay Eckelman and Kennedy Tutak followed with seven kills apiece. Kaitlyn Kotek came through with 15 assists.
The Pipers will host Saint Mary's (Minn.) at Hutton Arena on Friday, October 7 at 7 p.m.
