SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's soccer team hosted second-year MIAC member St. Scholastica at Pat Paterson Field on Saturday afternoon. All six goals scored occurred in the second half, where St. Scholastica cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Pipers.
Hamline falls to 3-9, 0-5 MIAC, while St. Scholastica improves to 5-6-2, 3-3-0 MIAC.

After both teams went into intermission with a 0-0 score, Hamline would strike first in the 51st minute courtesy of Logan Weller's team-leading seventh goal of the season off a feed from Robert Cooper that made the score 1-0. The Saints evened things at 1-1 over a minute later thanks to Clemente Infante, which helped ignite four additional unanswered goals en route to a 5-1 victory.
Ken Pryde finished the game with two goals for St. Scholastica, while Keegan Chastey added a pair of assists.
St. Scholastica out shot Hamline 17-9. Luke Rimington stopped six shots in net for Hamline, while Saints goalkeeper Liam Lothian made two saves.
The Pipers will travel to Carleton on Tuesday, October 11 for a 4 p.m. game.
