The Pipers led for just 01:16 of time in the contest, but it occurred at the tail-end.

A delaying the game penalty called on Hamline out of the gates doomed them, as Saint Mary's (Minn.) capitalized on that at 1:02 of the first via Callahan Nauss's power-play tally, which made things 1-0. The Pipers battled back from a pair of one-goal deficits courtesy of Ike Taraszewski's score at the 8:13 mark of the first that knotted things at 1-1, and Bailey Sommers at 16:27 of the third that evened the score at 2-2.

Hamline's first lead of the contest occurred down the stretch via Dabrowski at 18:46 of the third period, which lifted them to a 3-2 decision over the Cardinals.

Warner Young and Nauss each registered a goal for Saint Mary's. Joe Collins came through with two assists for Hamline.

Pipers goaltender Kevin Lake made 32 saves in the winning decision, while Connor Close tallied 17 stops for the Cardinals.

Hamline will travel to Saint Mary's (Minn.) tomorrow, Saturday, November 5 for a 7 p.m. game.
