WINONA, MINN.—The Hamline University men's hockey team squared off against Saint Mary's (Minn.) in the back-end of a two-game series in Winona, Minnesota on Saturday night. The Cardinals registered a pair of late-game, extra attacker goals within :32, which gave them a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Pipers.
Hamline falls to 1-2, 1-1 MIAC, while Saint Mary's (Minn.) improves to 1-2-1, 1-1-0 MIAC.

Sam Dabrowski's heroic ways carried over from last night, as he set the tone with a goal at 16:43 of the first period that gave Hamline a 1-0 edge. Ryan Brandt and Bailey Sommers were each credited assists on the play.
Both teams had opportunities to capitalize on the power play, but each side would finish 0-for-5 in that category. The even play also showed in the shots, where Hamline held a slight 28-27 edge.
It was Saint Mary's (Minn.) who prevailed with the extra attacker down 1-0 late in the third period, where Jack Campion knotted the game 1-1 at 18:00 of the frame. Trevor Schroder kept that momentum going with another extra attacker score at 18:32 that gave the Cardinals a 2-1 lead.
Kevin Lake made 25 saves in net for Hamline, while his counterpart Matt Sanker notched 27 stops for the Cardinals.
The Pipers will host Northland on Friday, November 11 at 7 p.m.
