The first half was a rock fight between the Pipers and the Ole's, Hamline struggled shooting the ball for much of the first half but stayed within striking distance by forcing 11 St. Olaf turnovers. The Pipers took advantage by getting a late push to tie the game at 24 before the break. The second half saw things open up offensively for the Pipers taking control early in the period stretching their lead out as large as 44-31 with 11 minutes left. The Ole's weren't done though battling back as close as six points late in the game. Timely shooting and stellar defense though came through for the Pipers in the end as they closed out St. Olaf by a score of 60-52.

The Pipers were led by another 20-point performance from sophomore Bradley Cimperman. He was helped by fellow sophomore Austin Holt who posted a double-double grabbing 10 boards to go with his 11 points.

St. Olaf was paced by 18 points from Kobe Kirk and got double-digit scoring efforts from Connor Martin with 12 points and 11 from Nathan Hendler.

The Pipers will be in action next when they travel to Northfield to take on Carleton in their first MIAC road test Wednesday, December 7 at 7 p.m.
