Early shooting led to an early seven-point lead for the Gusties when the Pipers began to fight, keeping it tight the rest of the half. The half finished up with the Gusties in front by a score of 33-28.

Hamline fought back to tie it twice early in the second half but Gustavus answered quickly both times. From there, the Gusties stretched their lead for the rest of the game until the 84-69 final score.

For the Pipers, senior Jake Larson had the hot hand scoring 21 points for the Pipers. Cooper Berg also hit double figures with 13 points.

Gustavus was led by strong performances by Kaleb Feahn with 22 points, who had help from Evan Wieker with 19 and Spencer Swanson's 13 points both on 100% shooting.

The Pipers will close out the regular season Wednesday, February 16 hosting Macalaster for senior night at 7 p.m.
