MANKATO, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team competed at the MSU-Mankato Mark Miller Invite on Friday, where they took eighth place out of nine teams with 15.50 points. The host Mavericks took the team title with 217.50 points.

The Pipers were led by Christian Velishek's third-place mark of 6.83m in the long jump, and sixth-place leap of 1.86m in the high jump. The triple jump was all Thomas Amberg, who registered a seventh-place leap of 12.95m.

The Pipers will embark on the 2022 MIAC Championship in Northfield, Minnesota on February 24-26.
