ROGERS, MINN.—The Hamline University men's tennis team opened MIAC play against first-year conference member St. Scholastica at the Rogers Tennis Club on Saturday afternoon. The Pipers dropped a 7-2 decision to the Saints.
Hamline falls to 1-3, 0-1 MIAC, while the Saints improve to 2-1, 1-1 MIAC.

The Pipers took a 2-1 lead in doubles behind an 8-6 victory for Nazeer Robinson/Sam Thompson in the No. 1 slot, and Elijah Krause/Isaac Hultberg 8-5 at No. 2.
Hamline couldn't keep that momentum going in singles as St. Scholastica picked up the 6-0 sweep to secure a 7-2 victory.
The Pipers will travel to UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, February 26 for a 1:30 p.m. match.
