EAU CLAIRE, WIS.—The Hamline University men's tennis team hit the road to WIAC foe UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, where they dropped a 7-2 decision.
The Pipers fall to 1-4, while the Blugolds improve to 5-3.

The Pipers exited doubles with a 2-1 lead thanks to victories fromIsaa Hultberg 8-6 in the No. 2 slot, and Surprise Taylor/Sean Le in the No. 3 position. UW-Eau Claire came from behind with a clean 6-0 sweep in singles en route to a 7-2 victory over Hamline.
The Pipers will return to action on Monday, March 14, when they'll square-off against Franciscan in the opening match of their spring break.
