Pipers Competed at University of Minnesota, and Carleton

MINNESOTA RESULTS

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University swimming & diving teams competed at the Carleton Dodd Road Diving Invitational, and the University of Minnesota First Chance Meet on Saturday.

At Carleton, Courtney Broyles registered a first-place score of 241.90 in the 1-meter dive, followed by a second-place mark of 406.80 in the 3-meter dive.

At Minnesota, Sarah Wood commanded the women in the 100 yard breaststroke with a fifth-place time of 1:11.34. She also registered fifth place in the 200 yard breaststroke with a 2:37.13. Sila Yurttas came in seventh place with a 2:21.21 in the 200 yard IM, and eighth place in the 400 yard IM with a 5:05.20.

For the men, George Hubbard tallied a ninth-place time of 21.99 in the 50 yard freestyle, and took fifth place in the 200 yard freestyle with a 1:46.48. Hubbard came through in seventh place with a 56.18 in the 100 yard backstroke, and a 48.13 in the 100 yard freestyle.

Quinn Doan took 10th place in the 200 yard IM with a 2:02.50, and eighth place in the 400 yard IM with a 4:25.44.

The Pipers will compete at the MIAC Championship on February 16-19 at the University of Minnesota.
