RESULTS
ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team made the short trip to compete at the Bethel Gene Glader Classic on Saturday.
First place was in the cards for the Pipers, courtesy of the 4x200 meter relay team of David Couper, Ean Chose, Joshua Thomsen, and Christian Velishek (1:34.91). Josh Lynch kept the first-place trend going in the pole vault with a 4.10m.
Lucas Doyle tallied second place in the weight throw with a 15.35m.
The distance group was highlighted by Aric Brodie's second-place time of 2:41.60 in the 1000 meter run, while Will Saari claimed fourth place in the 3000 meter run with a 9:30.87. The 60 meter hurdles saw Zach Angstman notch fourth place with a 9.08, while Michael Braun earned that standing in the long jump with a 6.20m.
Joshua Thomsen came through with a fifth-place time of 51.56 in the 400 meter dash.
Select Pipers will compete at the South Dakota State Invite, and Carleton Meet of Hearts on Friday, February 11 - Saturday, February 12.
