RESULTS
SAINT PAUL, MINN.- The Hamline University men's track and field team hosted their first meet of the outdoor season on Saturday, as 15 schools made the trip to Klas Field to compete in the Hamline Invitational.
Lucas Doyle had an impressive day for the Pipers throwers starting with a ninth-place finish in the discus (38.02m) to go with a sixth-place tally in the hammer throw (46.88m).
Christian Velishek and Michael Braun had impressive showings in the high jump, as they each finished in the top-10 (1.90m). Braun placed 10th in the long jump (6.29m).
In the hurdles, Joshua Thomsen placed sixth in the 400 meter (57.20), while Zach Angstman finished seventh in the 110 meter (16.39). Sam Dabrowski had an eighth-place finish in javelin (45.73m).
The Pipers will be in action next at the St. John's Invitational on Saturday, April 9th in Collegeville, Minnesota.
