MIAC MULTI-CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS
HAMLINE MEET RESULTS
SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The 2022 MIAC Outdoor Multi-Championship in Northfield, Minnesota, and Hamline Meet of the UnSaintly were on the Pipers men's track & field team's docket on Friday.
The MIAC Multi-Championship saw Carter Kienholz take 15th place in the decathlon with 4690 points. Kienholz's strongest event occurred in the 100 meter dash, where his time of 12.00 resulted in 651 points.
At the Hamline Meet of the UnSaintly, Joshua Thomsen registered gold in the 400 meter hurdles, where he crossed the finish line at 56.10. Thomsen kept that momentum alive in the 110 meter hurdles with a fourth-place time of 15.87.
Christian Velishek commanded the Pipers in the high jump with a second-place mark of 2.00m. The javelin was highlighted by Sam Dabrowski's fourth-place mark of 47.21m, followed by Velishek's fifth-place tally of 45.53m.
The distance group was all Aric Brodie, who came in sixth place in the 1500 meter run with a 4:06.03. Lucas Doyle kept the sixth-place trend alive in the discus with a toss of 39.83m. Doyle followed that with a seventh-place toss of 45.82m in the hammer throw.
Michael Kurtz was effective in the 5000 meter run, where he notched ninth place with a 16:56.69. Ninth place was also in the cards for Thomas Amberg, who notched a 6.06m in the long jump.
The Pipers will embark on the 2022 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, May 13 - Saturday, May 14 in Winona, Minnesota.
