Pipers Display Strong Times at UW-Platteville Invite

RESULTS

PLATTEVILLE, WIS.—The Hamline University women's cross country team embarked on the UW-Platteville Pioneer Invite on Saturday morning. The Pipers registered fourth place out of seven teams with 83 points. Ripon claimed the team title with 41 points. Mikayla Flyte (Ripon) notched first place with a mark of 23:25.8.

Alexandra Maddux was the top Hamline finisher in third place with a 23:35.6.

Libby Roberdeau was the next Piper finisher in 10th place with a 24:40.7. Miranda Kerndt was next in line with a 17th-place time of 25:00.9, followed by Daniela Sanchez-Castillo in 25th place with a 26:03.0. Aspen Clarksean came through in 30th place with a 26:47.4. Abby Tapajna was on Clarksean's heels in 32nd place as she crossed the finish line at 27:12.5. Jalisa Matthews-Schmidt wasn't far behind in 33rd place with a 27:14.4. Klaire Petersen (27:18.1), and Charlotte Adams (29:11.0) round out the Hamline competitors.

The Pipers will compete at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational in West Salem, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 15 at 11:20 a.m.
