SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team opened MIAC play with a Sunday-afternoon match against Carleton at Washington Tech High School, where they dropped a 9-0 decision.
"Carleton is still one of the top teams in our conference," said Hamline head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "We will continue to work hard and close the gap."
The Pipers fall to 1-2, 0-1 MIAC, while the Knights improve 2-0, 1-0 MIAC.
The Pipers will travel to UW-Stout on Thursday, October 6 for a 4 p.m. match.
