SUPERIOR, WIS.—The Hamline University women's soccer team made the two-hour trek northbound on I-35 for a Sunday-afternoon match at defending UMAC Regular Season and Tournament Champion UW-Superior. The Pipers peppered the Yellowjackets for a 23-8 advantage in shots, but it resulted in a 0-0 draw.
Hamline moves to 1-0-1, while UW-Superior goes to 0-1-1.

Cailey Schmitt posted a game-high five shots for the Pipers.
Yellowjacket goalkeeper Jenna Lang came through with five saves in a complete-game effort. Lauren Sicora stopped one shot over the first 45:00 in net for Hamline, before Ava Braun came through with three saves over the final 45:00.
The Pipers will host UW-Stevens Point at Pat Paterson Field on Wednesday, September 7 at 4:30 p.m.
