WOMEN'S RESULTS

ROCK ISLAND, ILL.—The Hamline University mens and women's cross country teams embarked on the prestigious Augsustana Interregional at the Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday. The women took 34th place with 1016 points, while the men recorded no team score.

Chicago claimed the women's title with 48 points, and North Central (Ill.) won the men's crown with 60 points. Christan Patzka (UW-Whitewater, 24:19.3) and Evelyn Battleson-Gunkel (Chicago, 21:24.7) claimed the individual titles.

Alicia Maddux led Hamline with a 198th-place time of 24:54.5, followed by Libby Roberdeau in 210th places with a 24:57.4. Anabel Bradley crossed the finish line at 25:38.9, and Abby Tapajna achieved a mark of 25:53.4. Aspen Clarksean was next with a 26:34.0, followed by Sarah Redepenning's 27:31.8. Daniela Sanchez-Castillo (27:58.2) rounded out the Hamline top seven finishers. Wren Anderson (28:01.5), Deliah Neria (28:29.0), Tatiana Otero-Ortiz (29:99.3), and Savannah Janes (31:00.2) also competed for the Pipers.

The men were led by Lucas LiaBraaten's 255th-time of 27:01.4. Connor Artner (31:23.4), lestyn Zapata (33:38.7), and Jasper Roetter Gresback (33:54.5) also represented Hamline.

The Pipers will compete in the MIAC Championship in Northfield, Minnesota on Saturday, October 28. The men will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the women at 12 p.m.
