SAINT PAUL, MINN - The Hamline University women's soccer team hosted St. Catherine on Wednesday afternoon for a conference matchup at Pat Paterson Field. The Wildcats won this contest by the score of 3-0.

Hamline moves to 1-11-1, 0-7-1 in MIAC play, while St. Kate's improves to 13-3, 8-1 in the conference.Â

The Pipers hung with the second-place Wildcats team in the first half. The lone first half goal came in the 12th minute from St. Kate's fifth year senior, Amanda Elton. The second half started back-and-forth with both teams trading blows. Then in the 61st minute, the Wildcats got a goal from the sophomore, Briana Henaman making the score 2-0. Kate's finished off the afternoon with another goal from Amanda Elton in the 81st minute, which widened the margin to 3-0.

Isabella Jensen made seven saves while her counterpart from St. Kate's, Kate Praetz finished the game with one. The Wildcats kept Jensen busy with 27 shots, 11 on goal; while the Pipers had four shots, one on goal.Â
