MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision against St. Scholastica at InnerCity Tennis on Saturday afternoon.
"Christine Muller had an amazing come back to almost pull out the second set at No. 3 singles. and only leg cramps could stop Elanna Kohner at five singles," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Freshman sensation Vanessa Pham continued her winning ways with a convincing win at No. 6. We wrap up our fall season at 2–3 with a bright future ahead of us."
The Pipers fall to 2-3, 0-2 MIAC, while the Saints improve to 1-1, 1-1 MIAC.

Vanessa Pham picked up Hamline's lone win at No. 6 singles by a 6-2, 6-3 score. Elanna Kohner dropped a close 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 decision at No. 5 singles.
The Pipers will return to action on Friday, February 9 in De Pere, Wisconsin, where they'll face St. Norbert at 9 a.m., and Ripon at 5:30 p.m.
