SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University junior libero/defensive specialist Jenna Rubbelke earned 2023 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Women's Division III All-Region Honorable Mention on Wednesday afternoon. She is the first Piper to earn AVCA All-Region since Sydney Larson in 2021.

The North St. Paul, Minnesota native's 6.58 digs per set in 2023 ranks third in NCAA Division III, while her 579 total digs comes in at No. 17 in the country. Rubbelke was also lethal from the service line with a team-leading 39 aces, while her 75 set assists was second on the team.
She tied the three-set match digs record on two occasions with 30 in a 3-0 victory over UW-Superior on October 24, and a 3-0 decision over St. Scholastica on November 3. Her 48 digs in a 3-2 loss against Central (Iowa) on October 13 is a career-high as well as a single-match, and five-set school record.Â
Rubbelke's 153 career service aces is one shy of matching the school record of 154, while her 1,592 career digs ranks sixth all-time.
She is either tied for, or owns the following school records:

Rubbelke was named 2023 MIAC Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year, and made her third-straight trip to the MIAC Women's Volleyball All-Conference Team.
The Pipers finished the 2023 season with a 9-15 record.
