Jordon Halverson with two goals and one assist, freshman forward
Nikolai Dulak had one goal and one assist while senior goalie
Maximillian Haselbacher recorded 38 saves on the night. It was a back-and-forth dog fight between the two clubs but the Pipers came away with the OT victory, 3-2 thanks to the game winner by Halverson.Â

Hamline improves to 4-6 on the year, 2-3 in MIAC play, while Concordia (Minn.) falls to 5-2-1, 1-2 in the conference.Â

The game started out with both teams trading punches, but no one was able to put one between the pipes in the first period leaving the score tied at 0-0. The Cobber's scored the first goal of the game in the second period at 11:19 from Joe Harguindeguy to make the score 1-0. The Pipers were quick to answer with Halverson's first goal of the night from freshman defenseman
Kyle Mortenson at 8:04 in the second to tie the game at 1-1. The Hamline freshman Dulak scored at 12:50 in the third period to break the tie making the score 2-1 in favor of the Pipers. Caden Triggs for the Cobber's tied the game at 4:02 in the final frame of the game forcing overtime. With 1:21 remaining in OT Dulak had a brilliant pass to Halverson leading to the game winning breakaway goal finalizing the score at 3-2.Â

The Pipers look to add another win against Concordia (Minn.) tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Tria Rink.Â
