BROOKINGS, S.D.—The Hamline University track & field teams embarked on the South Dakota State Classic on Friday and Saturday. Both teams registered a point, as the women took 21st place while the men came through in 31st place.

Michael Braun scored the men's lone point in the long jump, where he registered an eighth-place leap of 6.42m. Braun kept that momentum going with a 13.09m in the triple jump, good enough for ninth place.

Lindsey Bernardy scored the women's point with an eighth-place time of 1:40.99 in the 600 meter run.

The Pipers will compete at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Saturday, February 18.
