MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team made the short trek to the University of Minnesota Gopher Classic on Saturday.

Michael Braun commanded the troops as he cleared the bar at 1.90m in the high jump, and kept that momentum going with a fifth-place leap of 6.30m in the long jump. It was another day at the office for Joshua Thomsen, who registered a fourth-place time of 8.48 in the 60 meter hurdles. David Couper turned in a solid outing in the 400 meter run, where he took 11th place with a 54.36.

The Pipers will compete at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic on Friday, February 10 - Saturday, February 11.
